I originally had JP Handywoman over to install some ceiling hooks so I could hang up my bikes. While she was here, we started talking about whether it was worth it to renovate my kitchen. She was fantastic to talk things through with—she doesn’t even do renovations, but she had a ton of thoughtful ideas. One of her suggestions was to remove the old, defunct chimney and open up the kitchen to the living room. That idea ended up being part of my final plan. She was such a helpful sounding board and really helped me get clarity.

JP Handywoman came to our house to clean our dryer vent, and while she was here, she offered to do a free inspection. One thing she pointed out was some cracks in our stone foundation. I had noticed them before but assumed they weren’t urgent.
Thanks to her, I called a foundation expert—and it turned out we needed some serious repairs in a couple sections. I'm really glad JP Handywoman brought it to my attention when she did.
